Interview with Cavin Brinkman about Adapt's "No Risk, No Fun" VOD
Earlier this year, the Adapt team flew west to Sunny SoCal to hit up the Blading Cup and to put together the second team video. Descending to the streets of San Diego, the team set to work on capturing everything they could with the cameras running nearly non stop from the beginning of the trip to the final doors closing on the last flight. Leading the charge into the streets, they took on all spots, old and new, as they put down for the upcoming release. The 2019 Adapt pro team consists of Julian Bah, Russell Day, Sem Croft, and the newest member, Adrian Deck. Featuring some talent from the local skater pool as well, the photography is courtesy of Cavin, and the SD Locals, Sean MacGowan and Steve Steinmetz.
Cavin Brinkman has been a videographer for the past 20+ years. With countless videos under his belt, and many more edit releases along the way, this is his second dive in with Adapt shooting and editing the teams video. The first video released nearly 2 years ago and featured a very different team and vibe. Now with a more compact team, and more focused approach, he returned to America armed with his dual Panasonic HD Cameras and the team was ready to declare war on the SoCal Streets. During our interview, we discuss his process and approach to videography, his history in skating, his thoughts on the Adapt Stealth skate, the 2019 pro team, and more.
