Off-Road Skates At The Skatepark With Roll Minnesota
“A few years ago, I came across a vintage pair of Rollerblade Coyotes, the first off-road skate ever manufactured (1997). These skates have massive inflatable tires and are similar to the Powerslide SUV skate, basically the mountain biking version of inline skates. Today, I decided to break them out of storage and take them to Overpass skatepark to see if it's possible to grind with them.
Overpass Skatepark in Hopkins, Minnesota is without a doubt my favorite skatepark. It's conveniently located underneath a major highway, providing plenty of shade for those hot, summer skate sessions. The park features a massive box jump, a full vert ramp, a spined mini-ramp, and tons of unique obstacles to grind and transfer. Whether you rollerblade, skateboard, scooter, or BMX, this is a must visit skatepark in Minnesota! Special thanks to 3rd Lair Skatepark for operating Overpass these last few years! For this session, we brought out the whole crew including: Mike French, Derek French, Butch Lehman, Nelson Juan, Dave Walsh, Kris Ackerman, Jason Hall, Howard Jones, and Chemi Simiyu. Thanks for watching Roll Minnesota!” - Butch Lehman
