One Minute review of Ascot Vale Skatepark
“If you come here, bring a broom and a big cake of wax and avoid rain seasons as the water can pool up. But once you have finished your community service and cleaned and waxed up the skatepark, you are in for a little treat. As you can see the park only has three obstacles, and we will start with the massive quarter. I love this quarter pipe because it’s long and it has a slight angle to keep it interesting. Great run up and lots of room when dismounting.
Next on the agenda is the fun box, and this box has a perfect launch and landing. The ledges on it are a little steep and low and I didn’t even bother grinding them. Then over to the third and last, the ledge. It was a very sharp ledge and you could do some damage if you smashed your shin into it but that’s why we do this, right? The little launch is welcomed because it would be a big jump otherwise to the top ledge.
This park isn’t the best park around this area but that said, I had a lot of fun here and will be going back. I give it 3 VB’s out of the six pack.” - Joe Stuart
