Lawrence Ingraham is one of the busiest men in rollerblading. After coming back to the sport a few years ago and launching his Back to Blading YouTube channel and podcast series, in February of 2018 he announced the revival of the much beloved 50/50 frame company. Almost a year later Lawrence has dropped his next project on the industry during last nights episode of Gear Talk.
Compass wheels will be available in 72mm/85a and 100mm/85a sizes. Preorders open at 12am (EST) Friday, January 25th and close at 11:59pm (EST) Sunday the 27th on skateeverywhere.com. Compass Wheels will also be available for preorder at Roller Warehouse, Oak City Inline Skate Shop, and Intuition Skate Shop.
Regarding the Compass team Lawrence had this to say:
“The Compass team was really important to me so we started with a team of five very different skaters. My main motivation around Compass is to promote skating. I want people to go out and skate […] I wanted to look for people who epitomize the different disciplines that I really looked up to.”
