You know that feeling when it seemed like a good idea at the time . . . NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA SKATEPARK! NYA is a rural town about an hour and half southwest of Minneapolis. For years, I've heard rumors that it was the worst skatepark in Minnesota, so we decided to check it out. What we found didn't disappoint: deteriorating ramps, missing screws, illogical ramp placement, and even a sliver forest! Perhaps the most interesting (and fun) feature was a grind rail made out of train tracks!
With so much to offer, we decided to make the most of the journey and give a full tour of the park! Skating here wasn't easy, but we actually managed to do a few tricks. Unless you like self-inflicted suffering, this is one park you should skip!
