Wheel Scene Catches Up With Ant Medina To Break Down Candy

"Ant Medina is one of Texas’ most prolific rollerblading filmmakers, but he has been keeping a pretty low profile for the past couple of years. After releasing various full-length videos, including Dag Days and Waterloo, and creating countless Andrew Broom sections that thrust him into the blading limelight, companies finally started taking notice and he was enlisted to create several Ground Control online videos and the promo for Scott Quinn’s Razors pro skate. Hell, we even got him to create the short-lived video series Selects, which featured two excellent sections from Andrew Broom and Brian Weis. At the height of his notoriety, he moved to Colorado and then spent the next couple of years travelling extensively through Europe. He filmed the odd thing here and there, including the exceptional Andrew Boom VOD section and Local, but his productions were becoming a lot less frequent and it seemed like he was gradually stepping away from filming. All that changed in October 2018, when an Instagram account popped up for Candy – a TX video in the works by Ant Medina – and it looks set to see the light of day at the end of this year."
