At Blader Union, we get emails from time to time with people sending us content to post, tricks to watch, and photos that go along with it. During December, Steve Dürr reached out to us while we were finishing up our new mobile apps and launching the new site. He kept saying he had a profile for us to watch, but it wasn’t finished yet. Unfortunately without finished content, we weren't sure how to help him out.
Fast forward to January. Steve reaches out to let us know the video was now completed and he had some solid photography to go along with it. To be honest, we didn’t know what to expect with this one, but it still left us speechless once we saw it. Steve’s skating is powerful and controlled, with an unconventional bag of tricks which leads to some head scratching switch ups and very unconventional grinds. He managed to lose this footage all shot from 2017-2018 and recently came across it all again. It would’ve been a shame to never let this see the light of day as many of these tricks are incredible. Front Fastslide on a down ledge, Royale 720 to forward, spins in and out in both directions, and the gnarliest gap to bank to gap we’ve seen in a long time. This was all shot in his home country of Austria. Photography is courtesy of Stefan Kuback. Make sure to hold out for that last trick attempt. That one was a real jaw (and knee) dropper.
