"Covid-19 has affected many of action sports contests and worldwide, with many of them put on hold for the foreseeable future and others moving to online formats. One such event that has moved towards going online is FISE, which is allowing competitors from all over the world to participate. It includes pro and am participation with men’s and women’s categories in each, with a total of over 10,000 euros in prize money and additional prizes.

Currently up for voting is the ‘park’ competition, with uploading going on until July 31st and voting until August 5, 2020. ‘Street’ entries will start submissions August 6th, closing August 14th with public voting going on until August 19th, 2020." - Be-Mag.com

Editors note: Blader Union was not provided with any press kits about this contest from FISE which is why we’re depending on the reporting from our friends at Be-Mag now. The contest itself started back in June but it doesn’t appear that FISE informed any blading news outlets until last week. So make what you will of that. We’re certainly disappointed with the lack of communication from FISE and we hope they improve it going forward if they want to showcase inline skating properly.
