“Falling while skating can be defined as 'weak', 'awful', and sometimes even make you wonder 'why do I do this to myself?!'. Each time that I've fallen and smashed my ribs recently, I've had to sit myself down and have an honest talk if my old(er) body can handle this type of stress. Spoiler: those talks often end with me going skating. This video took on a life of its own while I was recording my talking part, whatever that means, so hopefully I make some sense to y'all and can help you with your own stress of not being up to your usual skill level after an injury.
