Joe Stuart's One Minute Review of Yarraville Skatepark

“Generally when you see a skatepark that is spray painted like this one, it is an older one that has lots of history and grandparents telling stories of how they would rip it up. Yarraville is a classic park, that is both awesome and hairy. Like these mini skyscrapers that i like to call Warrick Knee Cappers because they will take out your knee caps if you over run your trick. The box in the center is the best part of this park. It has a ledge at the top to slippery slide. And a little ledge in the center that is good for learning new tricks. It is also good for launching over as the transition is smooth and not too steep. The coffin box over the canyon is good fun if you land it! The rail over the box is square (would be much better if it was round - wink, wink Councillor Michael Clarke) this park is hopefully going to get an upgrade - more on that in another video. This part of the skatepark is super compact and not a lot of room to utilise without running into objects once again. But if you do get the park to yourself, it is a sick park where you can get super creative and if you don’t blow out your kneecaps then you will have a great time here. I give this park in its current state 3.5 VBs out of the sickkkk pack!” - Joe Stuart
