Joe Stuart's One Minute Review of Altona Meadows, Victoria

“Nestled amongst the industrious landscape sits this interesting skatepark. I have been here a few times and it was only today that I decided that I love this park. The park is good for all levels, experts to beginners. We will start on the old side of the park, it looks like it has been here for a few good years. The coping is decent and there are lots of ledges. It also has good size wedges that generate lots of speed to negate the winds that you will get at this park. The rail was good, it is a good height and round like all good rails should be. The ledges are on both sides too so good for everyone! Now over to the new section, this is the beginner bowl. Only a couple of feet high but it has lots of variety and has a cool gutter/curb that sits on top and is fun to play on. But the park has plenty of sections to skate and I think this park is a bit of a diamond in the rough. I give Altona Meadows 4.5 VBs out of the six pack.!” - Joe Stuart
